Divorce and Custody
The end of a marriage can be one of the toughest experiences you face. At Redling Law LLC, we are here to help you navigate these challenging proceedings. Our goal is to resolve your case swiftly and justly, ensuring you receive what you deserve without incurring excessive legal costs. Cindy is also a trained family law mediator as well as a court-approved parent coordinator. We're committed to supporting you every step of the way.

Child Support Modifications
If your combined net income exceeds $187,200 annually ($3,600/week), the court may make an adjustment above the child support guidelines. It's important to ensure that you're paying the correct amount. Our office is here to help you potentially lower your payments and ensure you get the appropriate credits for the expenses you already pay for your child. We can also help modify support upward if support was never calculated properly at the beginning of your case or if there has been a change in circumstances. The court should consider the factors set forth in N.J.S.A. 2A:34-23 or N.J.S.A. 9:17-53 when establishing the child support award. Our office will provide assistance in ensuring this is done properly and in accordance with the law.

Alimony
Alimony, or spousal support, is often one of the most contentious issues in a divorce. In many marriages, there is a disparity in earnings between partners, and this gap can become even more pronounced if one spouse has been a stay-at-home parent or has sacrificed their career to support the family in other ways. Determining eligibility for alimony can quickly become complicated. It's crucial to seek guidance to ensure your interests are safeguarded.

Domestic Violence/VASPA

If you are experiencing domestic violence, we are here to help you file for a temporary restraining order. Our team will also represent you at the Final Restraining Order Hearing. Remember, you are not to blame for your situation. Reach out to Redling Law LLC for support during this difficult time.

Since 2024, New Jersey has allowed individuals who previously didn't meet the jurisdictional requirements for domestic violence temporary restraining orders to acquire temporary protective orders through VASPA. Redling Law LLC will help you determine which order is best for you and secure the protections you need for your safety at trial.

Special Needs Guardianship
Special needs guardianship is a legal arrangement that allows a designated individual or agency to make decisions on behalf of a person with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This type of guardianship is typically considered when the individual reaches the age of 18 and may require assistance in areas like medical or financial matters. Redling Law LLC can assist in uncontested special needs guardianship for parents of developmentally disabled individuals.
As a court appointed guardian of a developmentally disabled individual herself, Cindy Redling understands this process can be overwhelming and will provide affordable assistance to parents who do not understand this process and require guidance.
Cindy represented me in my divorce case, where the counterpart refused to communicate or even be reasonable. I asked her to lead the communication, and she managed to achieve a rapid solution and a favorable agreement. I never had to speak to my ex-spouse. I am very satisfied with the knowledge she provided and the advice she constantly shared. I would recommend her to my friends who need trustworthy legal representation. - Max
